Völgy Ház aims for balance in its appearance and proportions: a Mediterranean-inspired inner garden, generous circulation spaces, and plenty of natural light. Behind a façade that integrates quietly into the streetscape sits an understated, residence-grade office building.

Designed by Ybl-prize-winning architect János Vonnák, the building converses with its neighbours along this characterful stretch of Szépvölgyi út — and has been highlighted in professional architecture press as a defining contemporary presence in the area.

The inner courtyard garden is the heart of the building. Most offices and apartments face this quiet, green courtyard, so the traffic and noise of Szépvölgyi út doesn't intrude on the working day or on rest.

We maintain the garden regularly, typically from March through November. Its atmosphere and microclimate come from the balance between paved surfaces and planting.

The Völgy office building was designed by Ybl-prize-winning architect János Vonnák, commissioned by Entel Műszaki Fejlesztő Kft. Completed in 2001, it was built to a standard exceeding the technical norms of its time. The four-storey structure spans roughly 1,000 m², with offices on two levels and two apartments, arranged around a Mediterranean-inspired courtyard garden that forms the heart of the building.

The site sits on Szépvölgyi út on the border of Budapest's 2nd and 3rd districts, in the middle of the Újlak neighbourhood, with excellent transport links. Offices and apartments facing the inner garden enjoy a remarkably quiet environment.
